Harcourt - MARCEL WANDERS
Through five exclusive creations, Marcel Wanders studio reinterprets daringly and creatively the star of glasses, perpetuating the Harcourt spirit forever.
“Harcourt is the living proof that a legend of the past can become in its own right a legend of tomorrow. With this collection we celebrate its timeless beauty and add a new chapter to its fascinating story.” - Gabriele Chiave, Creative Director Marcel Wanders studio
For tableware, Marcel Wanders proposed 3 sets:
Set in Stone, literally. The Harcourt glass is transformed into a marble sculpture. An exceptional object made in the finest Italian marble in a small family workshop in Tuscany.
Proost. Inspired by the traditional Dutch beer glass, one of the world’s most beloved drinks can now be enjoyed with elegance and glamour.
Zero Degrees. The Harcourt glass is here accented by delicate patterns and offers a striking frosted effect. Engraving created by deep sandblasting and inspired by elements of the Baccarat heritage mixed with motifs of Marcel Wanders’ visual language.
